After many long nights of studying, I passed the bone marrow biopsy test! This week I go to complete the blood, respiratory, etc. tests and then in May I will begin The Process, if all goes well. Thanks to all who have left comments. The UNC-CH staff was wonderful but the whole medical explanation and the accompanying notebook was overwhelming. However, your words of encouragement makes it seem more mangeable. Hope you all continue to do well.

I’ve been diagnosed with MM since September 2006. You can read the early stuff in ABOUT and see that it all started a few years ago. I am going to UNC-CH on April 17th for my first consultation for a stem cell transplant. I’m 57 years old and fairly new to blog technology. So bare with me until I become proficient at this.
